Due to factors including perceived ease, pharmaceutical scarcity, lack of prescription requirements, or price differences from the actual product, consumers may be encouraged to buy counterfeit medications using these techniques. Customers have shown a willingness to take chances when purchasing goods online, occasionally ignoring the repercussions of buying and consuming potentially poorly formulated goods, according to an Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) survey.
